I have been a consultant for the University of Cincinnati's Corrections Institute (UCCI) since 2009. In this role, I work with staff in institutional and community corrections settings locally and nationally to help them strengthen their use of evidence based practices when working with individuals under correctional supervision. Examples of trainings I regularly deliver include: Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Abuse (CBI-SA), Core Correctional Practices (CCP), Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Employment (CBI-EMP), and Aggression Replacement Training (ART). The states I have worked with correctional staff in are highlighted in yellow bellow.
I have also been hired for consulting work on data collection and research methodology development, data integrity management, and to develop and facilitate trainings on qualitative data software use (e.g., NVivo), web-based survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), and focus group methodology.
