Teaching

The courses I often teach include: Introduction to Criminology and Criminal Justice (CRM 250), Criminological Theory (CRM 351), Corrections (CRM 348), Prison and Society (CRM 376), and Women and Crime (CRM 349). I also supervise independent studies on topics including solitary confinement,  barriers to reentry, and prison staff misconduct. In addition to my regular teaching duties, I serve as co-faculty advisor for the Department's Sociology and Criminology Undergraduate Student Club and I regularly involve students in my research projects.
